The Hyperion Ensemble, formed in 1992 as an ensemble focused on contemporary music, has been dedicated to Piazzolla's repertoire and tango in general since the beginning. Over the years, it has performed in over 1,000 performances at festivals and theaters throughout Europe, with a broad repertoire ranging from contemporary to traditional tango. Since its founding, the Ensemble has collaborated with various internationally renowned bandoneonists such as Luis Stazo, Juan Jose Mosalini, Daniel Binelli, Alfredo Marcucci, and other notable musicians such as Luis Bacalov and Antonella Ruggiero. The Ensemble's permanent bandoneonists are currently Uruguayan José Luis Betancor, Nicolas Maceratesi, and Gino Zambelli. The Ensemble's singers are currently Argentinean Martín Troncozo and Hernan Godoy. The Ensemble is invited to major tango festivals throughout Europe: Paris, London, Istanbul, Brussels, Tarbes, Berlin, Barcelona (Sitges), St. Petersburg, Turin, Rome, Florence, Genoa, Oslo, Krakow, Zurich, Antwerp, etc. It has often collaborated with the best dancers on the world tango scene (Miguel Angel and Osvaldo Zotto, Frumboli/Sepulveda, Arce/Montes, etc.) and has musically accompanied numerous shows with various Argentine companies. These include: the show "Tangovivo" with Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega's Union Tanguera company, "Tango Metropolis" with Claudio Hoffmann and Daniel Binelli, "Tango x 2" with Miguel Angel Zotto, "TangObsesion" with the Leonardo Cuello company, "Conceptango" with Leo Calvelli and Eugenia's company, "Tango Nuevo" with Roberto Herrera's company, and others. In 2015 and 2017, he participated in the German tour with Gustavo Russo's company in the show Tango Revolution.
