Enrico Bronzi

Cello

All the major concert halls in Europe, the USA, South America, and Australia (Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Salzburg Mozarteum, the Cologne Philharmonic, the Herkulessaal in Munich, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires) have hosted a concert by Enrico Bronzi. His extensive solo experience has led him to win major international competitions and to collaborate with renowned artists such as Martha Argerich, Alexander Lonquich, and Gidon Kremer, as well as ensembles such as the Hagen Quartet, the Kremerata Baltica, Camerata Salzburg, and Tapiola Sinfonietta.

Enrico Bronzi's solo career complements his equally intense work with the Trio di Parma (link to the Trio's dedicated page), an ensemble he founded in 1990 and which is complemented and enriched by his teaching activities. Since 2007, he has been a professor at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg.

His vocation as a cultural and musical promoter has led him to direct several festivals, and he is currently the artistic director of the Perugia Classica Festival.

Enrico Bronzi plays a 1775 Vincenzo Panormo cello.
