Francesca Sperandeo

Piano

 

Francesca Sperandeo completed her musical studies at the "S. Cecilia" Music Foundation in Portogruaro (Venice), under the guidance of Maestro Lucrezia De Vecchi, graduating with honors from the "Pollini" Conservatory in Padua at the age of 19. She attended advanced piano courses held by Maestros G. Lovato and K. Bogino, and chamber music courses held by Maestros A. Specchi, B. Baraz, the Parma Trio, and the Trieste Trio at the "Trio di Trieste" School of the United World College in Duino.

He has received numerous awards in various competitions, both as a chamber musician and as a soloist, including first prize at the Recanati International Young Pianists Competition, the Sesto San Giovanni Music Competition, the "Città di Grosseto" Music Competition, the "Liburni Civitas" Piano Competition, the "Città di Arenzano" International Music Interpretation Competition, the S. Pietro in Vincoli Music Competition, the "Città di Massa" Musicians Competition, second prize at the "Gino Gandolfi" Competition in Salsomaggiore, and the "Città di Moncalieri" European Music Competition.

In a duo with cellist Giacomo Grava, he received the Diploma of Merit from the Advanced Musical Specialization Courses held by the Masters of the "Trio di Trieste" alongside cellist E. Bronzi and pianist M. Jones at the School of the United World College in Duino.

She is the pianist of the Operacento Trio, with whom she performs extensively and has received important awards, including first prize at the Nuovi Orizzonti Competition in Arezzo, the Alpe Adria International Chamber Music Competition in Majano (Udine), and the Luigi Nono International Chamber Music Competition in Venaria Reale (Turin), as well as second prize at the Rovere d'Oro International Competition in Imperia. With the Operacento Trio, she recorded a CD for Radio Tre of works by D. Zanettovich, P. Longo, and G. Coral (2009) and was invited to participate in the Lockenhaus Academy of Chamber Music, part of the Lockenhaus International Festival, where she attended lessons with Maestro Alexander Lonquich.

She was the accompanying pianist for the cello class at the International Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.

With a degree in Educational Sciences and Primary Education, she teaches piano at the "XXV Aprile" music high school in Portogruaro and at the "S. Cecilia" Music Foundation in Portogruaro.
